When does the Magical Christmas Village in the UNESCO lands take place?

The fifteenth edition of the Magical Christmas Village in the UNESCO lands takes place from 13th November to 19th December 2021, every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm. This year it will be open also on 6th – 7th and 8th December. Furthermore, by checking the calendar of places and events you can see the program of the event day by day and the extra openings.

Where can i eat?

In the city of Asti, during the opening days of the event, it is possible to have lunch outdoors with the dishes offered by street fooders located in the squares of the market. A wide choice and variety of products from all over Italy.
In Govone it will be possible to taste some dishes proposed in the shop point, next to the royal castle.

Where is the Magical Christmas Village in the UNESCO Lands?

The Magical Christmas Village is located in a large part of the Piedmont area between the provinces of Cuneo and Asti. Specifically, in Govone, a small town in the province of Cuneo, nestled on the hills of Langhe and Roero, about 60 km from Turin, and in Asti, the birthplace of Vittorio Alfieri and easily reachable by train.

What do i find once arrived in Asti?

The Christmas market will be located in the town of Asti, in Corso Alfieri and in the squares Rome, Cairoli and San Secondo In addition to this, numerous exhibitions and guided tour routes.

What do i find once arrived in Govone?

All the shows and animations take place in this town of the Roero area: the Santa’s house musical, the game “the school of the Elves”, the format of “the Food Festival”, the exhibition and guided tour of the Castle, the exhibition of nativity scenes and children at the royal chapel.

How are the shows organised?

Music with a touch of magic: these are the ingredients of the Magical Christmas Village Shows, a recipe that thrills the little ones and makes the grown-ups feel a little like children again! Tickets are provided through the CiaoTickets circuit. Find descriptions, photos and useful information on the page dedicated to all the scheduled shows.

Where can i buy tickets?

Tickets for Santa’s House, the school of the Elves, the Food Festival, the visit and exhibition at the Castle and the displays of nativity scenes and children are available in advance on the Ciaotickets circuit at the authorised stores and through the online service.
Any remaining tickets can also be purchased on the days of the event, directly on site. However, there is no guarantee of availability, nor the possibility of choosing the time.

I purchased the tickets online but i have not received the confirmation mail yet

Are there facilities for groups?

For very large groups, it is mandatory to send a communication via email to gruppi@magicopaesedinatale.com: the staff of the Magical Christmas Village will inform you about the facilities available and will help you organise your visit in the best way possible.

Can there be changes in case of bad weather?

Generally, not: in any case, any program changes will be communicated as soon as possible through our online channels (this website and / or our Facebook account).

I bought tickets for the shows but the event has been cancelled due to extensions and / or restrictions. What happens with my purchase?

In the event that decrees regarding the safety of events are passed and The Magical Christmas Village cannot run regularly, tickets already purchased for the shows cannot be refunded. They will be valid for 13 months and will be usable for the 2022 edition of the Magical Christmas Country.
